Misha Lakhani’s eponymous fashion label reflects a sense of relaxed and timeless elegance. Striking a balance between tradition and modern, Misha creates collections that express a unique sense of personal style. Film, art deco and vintage craftsmanship have been lifelong inspirations for Misha, whose signature style is an eclectic aesthetic.
“It’s the polarity between past and present that holds my breath, opposites complimenting each other in the form of elegant separates that transition effortlessly from day to night.” Said by Misha
She also said “I became a fashion designer because what I craved I couldn’t find in my current context, which is an approach that cuts across many traditional disciplines and gives individual pieces more mileage in terms of wearability.”
The theme of this collection is a colonial transgression. It’s about refining the extravagance of old India by fusing it with the lexicon of international chic. There is a profusion of color, craftsmanship and texture, and beautifully made versatile separates.
